Willy van de Kerkhof
Willy van de Kerkhof is a highly respected former professional footballer and one of the most accomplished Dutch midfielders of his generation. Born in Helmond and the twin brother of René, he built an exceptional career at FC Twente and PSV, playing over 500 official matches, winning six national championships, three KNVB Cups, the UEFA Cup (1978), and the European Cup I (1988). Internationally, he earned 63 caps for the Netherlands, including two World Cups (1974 and 1978) and multiple European Championships.
After his football career, Willy successfully transitioned into business as an entrepreneur, advisor, and long-time President of the World Trade Center Eindhoven.
Today, he is widely recognised as a trusted corporate ambassador for several leading companies, known for his reputation, network, and diplomatic skills. He currently serves as Honorary Consul of Armenia and remains an influential figure in both the sports and business communities.
